Using VirtualDub To Clean Up AVI Files That Will Not Load

This tutorial is in response to an email from Elaine. She had some problems reading an AVI file with FadeToBlack.

Sometimes FadeToBlack 2.3.3 AVI Video Editor cannot load an AVI file to bad structure of the file. VirtualDub is a great (freely available) piece of software that is great at re-building the structure of an AVI file in only a few seconds.

This video will explain how to download and install VirtualDub and use it to very quickly clean up the AVI file structure.

New Blog For Thoughtman.com

This is the first post and a bit of test for blog. I'm going to posting here when I can about updates to the FadeToBlack video editor for Microsoft Windows. FadeToBlack has not has been updated for a long time (almost 5 years now). I'm going to resurrect it and fix a few outstanding bugs, including a refresh of the website, some parts of which no longer work. Currently, I have no major plans for new versions of FadeToBlack. We'll see how it goes.
